Description
"Higher, grandma! Higher!" Yelled little happy girl on swing.
"No, Arrie, you'll hurt yourself." Said old, kind woman to her grandaughter.
"I don't care!" Yelled Arrie again and jumped off the swing to sand.
"Arrie!" The old woman was scared, when Arrie fell right on her knees and blood was everywhere.
"It's okay, granny." Little girl said, "I do it all the time." she added and smiled.
"You should be more careful." Old woman said when she kneeled down, to wipe the blood away with a tissue.
"Being careful is boring." Arrie rolled her eyes and sat on the bench, just like her grandmother, "Parents want me to be careful all the time. It bothers me so much."
"They're just afraid of you, Arrie, it's totally normal, they love you."
"No, they never were with me there on the playground. Only you. They always go with Louis." Arrie was a little bit upset, so she just sat there then and listened to wind, which makes leaves dance. It was autumn, beautiful colours were everywhere and everyone were excited for the winter.
"Grandma?" She said after few moments of silence.
"Yes, Arrie?"
"I'm really glad you're there with me." She said and held her grandma's hand.
After 18 years...
"I'm glad that you were there with me."
I know I have some sort of art blok recently, but yesterday I started to sketching this and bam! I'm back. (Hopefully for a long time.)
Anyways, I needed to draw Arrie again. And I don't know why I drew her sad. (Like, Arrie is never sad, okay, maybe she is, but - you know, she always acts cool, like it's nothing.) I'm sure that I said that she had a really good realitionship with her granda, because she was the only person in her family who liked Arrie for who she really is. She taught her to be herself and never give up. She was really important to Arrie. Her grandma unfortunately died when arrie was about 6. It was horrible. Arrie sometimes goes to playground, where she and her grandma spent a lot of time together. Just to remind it.
